–Camille, Canto VII: The Dream Ending |
Camille is a Fixer of the Cinq Association's Western Branch who also does frequent, popular livestreams. He is working on a joint operation with Paula, a Zwei Association Fixer, to retrieve a missing person from La Manchaland. He is a supporting character Canto VII: The Dream Ending.
Appearance
Camille is a tall man with pale skin and pale blue eyes. He dons the uniform of Cinq Association's Western Branch, consisting of a dark blue shirt with a white cravat, dark blue pants, and knee-high black boots. He wears a white cavalier hat, a white cape lined with white feathers and decorated with gold embroidery, and black gloves similarly lined with feathers. He has wavy, shoulder-length blue hair with light blue highlights, and he wears two star-shaped hairclips.
Personality
Camille is a haughty, attention seeking Fixer who only cares about his popularity. He constantly talks to his stream Chat, showing off anything interesting in his surroundings and incessantly asking for popularity votes on Fixer related polls. He generally disregards people around him, including other Fixers assigned to his mission, the exception being to make fun of them on his stream. He shows a lack of respect for his subordinate Paula, calling her his 'sidekick' despite their equal rank. Despite his carefree and charming persona, he gets annoyed when Don Quixote’s talk of saving civilians calls into question his own ethics.
Story
Camille first appears when the Sinners arrive at the Fixer conference in the District 16 Backstreets, being one of the numerous parties assigned to the mission, along with his "sidekick" Paula. After the details of La Manchaland are explained, the pair explain that they are on a recovery contract for a specific "guest" at the park. To Don Quixote’s disapproval, Paula reveals that there are no plans to rescue every stranded person in La Manchaland. Don Quixote reacts in confusion, wondering who will save the rest of the visitors, and Camille mocks her for this delusion which sparks their argument and duel. A short time after winning the duel, Camille and the rest of the Fixers at the conference move on to entering La Manchaland.
Along with Paula, Camille is Corroded by the Four-hundred Roses Abnormality after entering the fathoms, and is fought and killed by the Sinners.
