Theater

The Theater is a section of the main menu that allows the player to re-watch cutscenes from both the main story, detour tales and cutscenes related to the various Identities for each Sinner and the mirror worlds they belong to. This section also contains Dante's Notes.

Main Story

This section lets the player view cutscenes from the Main Story chapters without having to navigate through the Drive menu. This includes cutscenes that occur before and after combat. and those that can only be experienced from within a Story Dungeon without actually having to enter combat or spend Enkephalin. Unlike when viewing through the Drive menu, these entries are listed as 'Episodes' rather than Cantos. Entries are unlocked as the player progress through the chapter.

Detour Tales

This section contains minor story cutscenes which are not part of major events, such as those belonging to Intervallo chapters or mini-episodes which are tied to events or relatively minor updates.

Identity Archive

This section contains two subsections labelled as 'Identity Archive' and 'Mirror Worlds' respectively. These subsections allow the player to filter the story either to a particular sinner's identities, or the mirror worlds their identities are drawn from.

Identity Archive

Opening this section will display a menu with all of the Sinners' ID tags. Selecting a Sinner will bring up a list of their Identities that the player currently owns. The player can then listen to these Identities' various voicelines and - if the player has them uptied to Tier 3 - view their story.

Mirror Worlds

Before the May 16, 2024 update, this section displays Identity Stories divided according to which "reflection" or faction they come from. Each World's listing has a 'View Requirements' button that, when pressed, will display the names of which Identities belonging to that world, with those that the player does not own being grayed out. A small light next to the 'View Requirements' button will light up once the player owns all required identities for that specific World. Selecting a Mirror World will bring the player to a list of all the Uptie Stories for every Identity of that particular World, allowing the player to view them in one place. There was no reward for collecting all of the Identities belonging to the same Mirror World.

Currently, this section does not exist. However, Identity Stories for Identities from a single Mirror World can still be accessed through a button in each Identity's specifics interface. A list of Identities sorted by Mirror World can be viewed here.

Dante's Notes

Main Article: Dante's Notes

Dante's Notes is a section that was added to the Theater with the May 11th, 2023 update. It contains the personal notes of Dante and acts as a basic glossary for the various terminologies and groups of interest that they the player encounters across the story. Further additions are made to this section at the end of each Season.

It is unlocked after completing Intervallo I: Hell's Chicken.
