–Old G Corp. Head Manager, Canto I: The Outcast |
Old G Corp. Head Manager is a veteran of The Smoke War, where he was a soldier of Old G Corp. and the head manager of Gregor's unit, and is a minor antagonist in Canto I: The Outcast.
Appearance
The Old G Corp. Head Manager is a burly man with a large insectile head, brown in color. He has an eyeless face with a variety of grooves across the surface, resembling carapace, which travels upwards into two tall, inward pointing, horns. He has a set of pincers surrounding a set of human teeth, a remnant of him pre-augmentation. He wears a gray-blue army uniform with a coat resting over his shoulders, covered in dried blood. He wears a large silver belt on his waist, his sprite showing him holding this belt with bloodied hands. His pants are tucked into boots stitched down the front.
Personality
The Old G Corp. Head Manager views himself as an honorable soldier and he still cares about his subordinates even after the end of the war. He is resentful of Gregor for becoming a deserter and blames him for abandoning his comrades after being such an important figure for the Wing. Despite a decade passing since The Smoke War concluded, he feels as if he has never escaped the battlefield and views the desperate things he has done after the war to keep himself and his fellow veterans alive as disgusting, thinking of himself and the other veterans as no more than pests.
Story
Prior to Limbus Company
The Old G Corp. Head Manager was once a proud soldier of G Corp. during the time of The Smoke War. He served under Gregor as his Head Manager before Gregor deserted. Since the end of the war he has continued to act as a leader for the soldiers who had served under him.
Canto I: The Outcast
The LCB meet the Old G Corp. Head Manager in Branch D-02 where he is one of many members of Old G Corp. who have banded together to scavenge the old Lobotomy Corporation facility for Enkephalin and other high value items. He recognizes Gregor immediately upon seeing him and confronts him on how he had deserted G Corp. when they needed him and was now killing his former comrades. When Gregor tells him the war has ended over a decade ago, the Head Manager disagrees and says that nothing ever ends and that they are still fighting every day to which Gregor reluctantly admits that he understands. He then simply states that there is only one verdict that awaits deserters and attacks. After the battle he warns the group to not proceed further before he takes his last breath and dies.
