Paula (Hangul: 폴라, Pol-ra) is a Fixer of the Zwei Association's Western Branch who is working on a joint operation with Camille to retrieve a missing person from La Manchaland. She is a supporting character in Canto VII: The Dream Ending.
Appearance
Paula is a tall woman with a pale complexion. She has short light brown hair parted in the middle, and round light brown eyes. She wears the uniform of the Zwei Association Western Branch, consisting of a suit of white metal armor over a yellow shirt and blue tabard, and a long blue cape. She can be seen carrying the standard-issued Zwei West greatsword.
Following her Corrosion at the hands of E.G.O gear, her armor is bloodied and pierced by several blooming roses that wrap along her body, blossoming as it feeds on blood. Most notably, the largest rose blooms from the top of her head.
Personality
Paula is a rational and reserved Fixer, focused on her mission. In contrast to her partner Camille, Paula prefers to stay quiet in most situations, only speaking when asked or to find details about her mission.
Story
Paula first appeared when the Sinners arrive at the Fixer conference in the District 16 Backstreets, being one of the numerous parties assigned to the mission, along with her work associate Camille. After the details of La Manchaland were explained, the pair elaborated that they are on a recovery contract for a specific "guest" at the park, and are aiming to minimize their time there. To Don Quixote’s disapproval, Paula revealed that there are no plans to rescue every stranded person in La Manchaland, sparking a disagreement between Don Quixote and Camille.
Alongside Fanghunt Office and others, the Association-based duo were sent to handle Area 3. However, in the midst of the action, somebody within the group betrayed them, leading to the deaths of many and the conversion of even more into Bloodbags. While Camille and Paula deftly avoided this fate, the two were believed to have been the traitors.
Despite this assumption, it is revealed the two were not responsible for the betrayal. Discovered further into the Lobotomy Corporation branch within La Manchaland, it was found that the two Corroded while donning E.G.O gear extracted from the Four-hundred Roses Abnormality. Meursault notes the likelihood the two used the gear in a final gambit of survival that ultimately did not succeed. Now mindless due to the Corrosion, the two battled the Sinners and were ultimately put down in the battle.

Trivia
- Paula, as the Budding Zwei Fixer, is fought in the Canto VII Dungeon, The Tale of a Great Fixer Who Once Reached for The Dream. Despite the enemy sprite not matching correctly with her armor and featuring a reused Yurodivy enemy head, she and Camille are identified by the Sinners within the text, meaning the Budding Zwei Fixer is still intended to be Paula, and the sprite's appearance is likely only incorrect due to time constraints.
- Paula's design appears to be directly based, if not outright taken, from the Zwei Association West Section concept art shown during Project Moon's July 2024 update schedule livestream (timestamp around 31:52). In that concept art, two Zwei West Fixers could be seen, with the left one having a practically identical hairstyle and armor design to that of Paula's.
