District 20 Yurodiviye Captain
District 20 Yurodiviye Captain is the Captain of the Yurodiviye T Corp. Branch, which is well known in the District for the detective work of its members. While investigating 'The Case of Timekilling Time', Rodya suspects him of being the culprit behind the crimes. He is a minor antagonist in Intervallo IV: Timekilling Time.
Appearance
The District 20 Yurodiviye Captain is a rather slim, clean-shaven man, visually appearing to be in his 20's or 30's. He wears a reddish-brown coat with a short, plaid cape of black and light-brown sett, over a black shirt, crisscrossed with reddish-brown belts, along with white pants, black gauntlets with gear patterns, a top hat, and the signature Yurodiviye scarf. He has a monocle over his left eye shaped like "?!" - the lens constitutes the dot on the "!" sign, with a smaller lens as the dot on the "?" sign.
In combat, he wields a brass-colored cane with a black tip, with multiple golden gears on its handle.
Personality
The Yurodiviye Captain of District 20 is a clever man with a deep sense of pride for his own intelligence. He is quick to understand situations and find a logical path of thinking to solve a case, and he uses these abilities to help the residents of District 20 with his detective work. When interacting with T Corp. Staff and their associates, he does not hold his tongue when he believes them to be acting incompetently. He has strong faith in Sonya's ideology and the purpose of the Yurodiviye, believing the other man to have made many changes throughout the world, and follows his philosophy of waiting for the right moment to take large revolutionary action. This respect for Sonya extends to friends of Sonya's as well, as seen when he offered free advice to the Sinners when he learned that Rodya was well acquainted with the founder the Yurodiviye. The Yurodiviye Captain is an inventor in addition to being a detective, and he makes small inventions such as bombs to be used in the Yurodiviye's conflicts with T Corp. Staff.
Story
During the Sinners' investigation of The Case of Timekilling Time, Rodya pushed the group to investigate the local Yurodiviye faction within District 20 which eventually lead to them finding the Yurodiviye's hideout where they confronted the District 20 Yurodiviye Captain. In response to the hideout being raided by T Corp. affiliated detectives, the Yurodiviye Captain quickly engaged them in combat without much discussion. After he was defeated by the Sinners, he surrendered and offered to answer their questions. Despite Rodya's assumptions, the Yurodiviye Captain made it immediately clear to the group that the Yurodiviye had no involvement with the Time Ripper. He further elaborated on the Yurodiviye's actions within the district, and informed Rodya on how Sonya had been making significant progress with his goals and established Yurodiviye factions within every Nest of the City. Before the group left, the Yurodiviye Captain gave them advice on how to progress in their case, such as to start by looking at connections between the victims in order to narrow down who would be stealing time from them.
Later that day, the District 20 Yurodiviye Captain became a victim to the Time Ripper himself, and was discovered frozen in time by the Sinners acting as detectives. They were able to put together that the Time Ripper was previously affiliated with the Yurodiviye in some way, which lead to them to finding his true identity. It is unknown whether he recovers from stasis after the defeat and apprehension of the Time Ripper.
