Bodhisattva Chicken's Manager
The Bodhisattva Chicken's Manager (Hangul: 보살 치킨 사장) oversaw the Bodhisattva Chicken location that opened right across the street to Eunbong’s Bar & Fryers — stealing their customers.
Spiraling into madness due to Bodhisattva Chicken ruining his business, Eunbong's owner transformed into a Distortion known as Papa Bongy — sending out an army of raw chickens at Bodhisattva's customers. Because of Papa Bongy's rampage, he became bedridden as their business suffered.
He was a minor character in Intervallo I: Hell's Chicken, the side chapter introduced in the Hell's Chicken event.
Appearance
He has a very meek appearance, with a pained smile and wearing a green shirt, beret, and apron with his restaurant's logo on it. He has an earpiece on his left ear, and grey pants.
Personality
Despite seeming meek, he is rather underhanded, having a spy infiltrate Eunbong’s Bar & Fryers and steal his secrets recipe to be destroyed, all because it was threatening to run him out of business. When Samjo promises the Sinners that Bodhisattva Chicken will give them free chicken for life if they take care of the Distortion, he becomes shocked and terrified at the prospect. At the end of the event, he is outright desperate for help, given that Eunbong’s return will surely drive him out of business, not that Samjo cares.
Story
Bodhisattva Chicken's Manager is first introduced to the Sinners by Samjo as a ploy to assess their competence. By opening a restaurant just across the street, he drew all the customers from Eunbong’s Bar & Fryers, whose owner later distorted and started creating problems for the Manager. To prevent him from losing money, Samjo suggests the Sinners solve his problem for a lifetime voucher.
In the Restaurateur's Fathoms we learn that Bodhisattva Chicken's Manager obtained Eunbong’s owner's secret recipe by planting a spy, who was pretending to be a part-time employee. He did this because his restaurant would be shut down since he hadn't met the quota that HQ was demanding of him. He then put the recipe in a concept incinerator, sealing the fate for Eunbong’s owner.
After the sinners deal with his distortion, he intends to open a pizza restaurant, thus leaving Bodhisattva Chicken's Manager's problem unsolved.
