–Pilot, Canto V: The Evil Defining |
Pilot is a member of the LCCB and a supporting character introduced in Canto V: The Evil Defining.
Appearance
Pilot has a youthful appearance, sporting the typical uniform that LCCB members are shown to wear. He has curly brown hairy which reaches to his ears, as well as deep brown eyes. On his left earlobe, he has a small silver piercing. Beneath his right eye are three circular marks in a horizontal pattern.
Personality
Pilot is an enthusiastic employee who takes pride in his job and holds deep admiration for his teammates as well as the members of the LCB. As the rookie of the team, he lacks the experience and knowledge that would be expected of an LCCB member and is naïve to many of the situations that he encounters on the job. Even still, he values his work and genuinely believes it to greatly benefit the company.
Background
Little is known about Pilot's life prior to the events of the story of Canto V. Shortly after joining the company, Pilot became a fan of the Sinners.
As per the regulation of his job within the Before Team, Pilot was a Limbus Company member made to travel to U Corp.'s Lobotomy Corp. Branch and survey it, in hopes of locating where the Golden Bough was stored. Quickly finding the Bough, the team were swiftly attacked by the Twinhook Pirates, accompanied by members of the Middle, notably, Ricardo. They were brutally attacked by these assailants, who planned to spare the team leader in hopes of extorting the rest of the LCB for their return. Due to the quick thinking of Haru, Pilot was thought to be the team leader and was captured, with the retreat of the Middle and a majority of the Twinhook Pirates then spurred by the appearance of the nearby Pallid Whale, shortly before it had consumed and regurgitated the Lobotomy Corp. Branch.
Story
Pilot first appears when freed from storage container used to store what the Twinhook Pirates assumed to be the LCCB Team Leader, only put there due to the previous sacrifice of the true team leader, Haru, who left Pilot with their tag. Upon being freed from his container once the location was acquired by Smee, Pilot delivered a message from Saude, revealing her to be still alive following the events of Canto III. At this point, he explains the encounter had at the LCCB members explored U Corp.'s Lobotomy Corp. Branch, one with the Twinhook Pirates and the Middle. He produces a hidden paper that was saved from the pirates, one with the coordinates to where the Lobotomy Corp. Branch is located. After attempting to join the Sinners, Dante declined his offer to join them out of fear for Pilot's life. Despite his dismay at the rejection, he would be comforted by the Sinners causing him to break down, wishing to see his team again, to which the Sinners say they will return whomever they could from the remains of the Lobotomy Corp. Branch.
