Tomah was a soldier of Old G Corp. who fought in The Smoke War. He is a supporting character in Canto I: The Outcast.

Appearance

Tomah takes the form of a young man with blond hair and light-blue eye, with bandages on the right side of his face. He wears the Old G Corp. uniform, with his augmentations include a bug arm and two pairs of wings. As the Golden Bough continues to resonate with Gregor, he gradually grows greater bug-like features, such as mandibles and pincers coming from his face.

Personality

Tomah is a proud soldier that views Gregor as a hero, able to list off several facts about the man with ease and is comforted by the fact that Gregor is on the battlefield, trusting in him to help turn the tide in G Corp's favor. As the loops of Gregor's memories play out, Tomah's augmentations become more visible and disturbing, but he keeps his optimistic attitude and never displays a lack of faith in G Corp.

Story

Tomah appears as a delusion formed during Gregor's synchronizing with the Golden Bough, grabbing onto Heathcliff's shirt to tell him and the other Sinners to escape due to the war going on. He then praises Gregor's augmentations as superior to everyone else's, due to having been modified by Hermann. When Gregor states he never wanted to be a solider, Tomah begins to mutate, telling Gregor to "take the lead". This scenario repeats twice until the last loop, where an already mutated Tomah points to the sky, stating he needs help and doesn't want to die, before being crushed by giant hands.
