Old G Corp.
Old G Corp., also called Former G Corp., was one of the Wings of the City, and was in control of District 7. The Wing was heavily involved in The Smoke War on the side of Old L Corp. and after the conclusion of the war, both Wings would collapse. After its collapse, it was replaced with the current G Corp.
Overview
Old G Corp. experimented heavily with genetic augmentation, giving bug-like limbs, heads, wings, and much more to their employees for an advantage in battle. Most employees of the Wing would receive an augmentation procedure, although they had little choice in the matter, as they had unknowingly given their consent to such procedures when they signed the contract to join the Wing.
The Wing's director, Hermann, was heavily involved in the testing of these augmentations, even operating on some of the employees herself. She used a teenage Gregor as a test subject, and he would go on to be the only recipient of an augmentation to not suffer negative side effects. This led to him being an inspiration for the soldiers of G Corp. and used in recruitment campaigns ran by the Wing.
After Old G Corp. collapsed, many of its employees who were veterans of the Smoke War were left to fend for themselves, as their insectoid features made them outcasts in the City. Hermann, unlike many of the other members of Old G Corp, would suffer little consequences for her involvement in the war.
Soldiers
Main article: Old G Corp. Soldiers Old G Corp. Soldiers are enemies found in the Backstreets of District 4. They are veterans of the Smoke War, where they fought on the side of the previous L Corp. against several other Wings. They possess bug genetic alterations that give them hardened carapaces and insect limbs, which they use in combat.
