Story

Prior to Leviathan

Rikako, as well as the other members of Vergilius's Office, would have become acquainted to the struggle of affording food to survive, slowly deluding the group to a point of greed, making them willing to harm or abandon others if it means they will achieve a stable life.

Leviathan

Rikako, alongside the others of Vergilius's Office, are seen celebrating the lead-up to Christmas, cheerfully giving their boss gifts as means to send back to the orphanage he frequently visited, unknowing of the visitors the orphanage would soon have.

At a later date, the group enjoyed drinks and food alongside Garnet, where Rikako participated in the event, ordering several complicated drinks with unique spins. Following the recon done on a school and gallery operated by the Ring, she was involved with the plan to rescue Lapis from the Finger, as well as locating the enigmatic Singularity the Finger was believed to be using. Rikako offered her services of ordering the disguises the group would soon need, preparing IDs alongside other matters.

Tasked with sneaking into the Ring's facilities via transporting an MDM Enterprises piece of technology alongside Nanseul, Rikako played the part of a confident employee keeping her partner in line. Inside one of the Ring's laboratories, the disguised duo began to pry the machine open, revealing a fleshy inside and causing violent noises to emanate, which incapacitated anybody into a state of yearning for 'returning home' and 'seeing the sea', something that temporarily effects Nanseul as Rikako continues the work without him. She brought him back to his senses, though quickly abandoned him as she peddles the fleshy inside to Asura, who meekly watched around a corner. A moment later, Nanseul questioned Rikako over what she would do if she were a meandering river meeting a stream to sea, and what she would do in the situation. Told that she doesn't enjoy mingling with others, Nanseul meekly laughed off the answer, expecting something like that.

hen the group meets again alongside Garnet, they battle Ring members collectively, making short work of them. While the group briefly discussed the concept of Office camaraderie, Nanseul visibly becomes disillusioned as he ponders things. However, Jumsoon cut this moment short with his arrival to the area. In a sudden rush, and per the Maestro's command, Nanseul stabs Rikako in the back, to her and Garnet's surprise. Though questioned, he referred back to Rikako's past answer to his hypothetical, allowing her to die in front of him. With Jumsoon's word, he flipped a lever which began intensive Refraction experiments on Lapis.

Later, as Vergilius concluded the events within the Ring's laboratory after a dangerous battle against the Abnormality Schadenfreude, he finds both Rikako's and Nanseul's bodies. He closes Rikako's eyes out of respect for his Officemates.
