Asura
Asura is a Docent of the Ring and an antagonist introduced in Leviathan Book10.
Appearance
Asura is a tall woman with dark hair styled into a thick bun atop her head, with shaved sides behind her ears. She has several piercings on her face, including two round piercings along her left brow, one circular piercing on her right brow, a round piercing alongside the left side of the bridge of her nose, and a circular on the left side of her lip. On the left side of her neck and torso is a large ornate tattoo of a woman with half of her skull exposed. Overtop her torso, she wears a pale suit jacket buttoned towards the bottom, as well as white dress pants and heels. She wields a steel pole in battle, with several metal spikes along the head of it.
During her battle with Vergilius, her hair is undone from its bun style, revealing it slowly turns from black to white the further it is from her scalp.
Personality
Asura is a highly emotional person, appearing to be both highly pensive and shy, or incredibly angry and violent. As she first confronts Vergilius, she demonstrates an extreme devotion to both Jumsoon and The Ring as a whole, caring deeply about the art produced by the Syndicate.
Story
Asura is first seen alongside her fellow Syndicate members, recorded by Lapis as she is escorted through the N Corp. lab that The Ring was operating.
While Nanseul and Rikako are in the midst of the lab, pretending to be technicians from MDM Enterprises, Asura hears somebody choking and peeks into the laboratory, questioning if everything is going alright. Seeing the inside of the mechanism the two Fixers are installing, Asura blushes and runs off.
In the midst of the Corridor, Vergilius and Garnet hear somebody walking in the distance, instantly realizing it to be a Docent due to their casual stride. Jumping at the two, Asura attacks Vergilius, realizing the duo weren't simply fans of Jumsoon's work and instead were looking for something. As Vergilius temporarily disarms her, he sends Garnet off to find Lapis, before he returns to battling Asura. Sent tumbling through a doorway by Vergilius, she and the Color battle inside the central atrium of the Corridor, where Vergilius would kick her onto a ledge above the abyss. Still attempting to battle, Vergilius channeled Shin into his foot, kicking into Asura's chest and sending the Docent to her death.
