Time Duck

Time Duck is a non-fightable Abnormality that can be encountered in the Mirror Dungeon through Abnormality events.

It is the source of the E.G.O Everlasting.

Appearance

Time Duck is an amorphous entity mainly composed of a viscous, white liquid, vaguely in the form of a bird when viewed upright. Golden clockwork gears can be seen inside it, while clock faces are seen on its surface. According to its Mirror Dungeon Event, its form resembles that of both a duck and a rabbit: when one flips the image upside-down, a falling rabbit can be seen.

Faust's E.G.O was added as part of the Timekilling Time Event during Season 4, available through Extraction. The E.G.O is obtainable through both the Dispenser and the Sinner's Target Extractions from Season 6 onward.

• Time Duck's Mirror Dungeon Event references the Duck-Rabbit Illusion——an ambiguous image of an entity with two long protrusions on its head that could either be the ears of a rabbit or the beak of a duck.
• Time Duck being a melted cluster of clocks and gears may be referencing The Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dalí. The E.G.O name "Everlasting" also has a similar meaning to "Persistence".
