Have You Become Strong (T-04-10-06) is an Abnormality encountered in Branch J-03. It is responsible for creating the Cyborgs that are present in the Branch by converting casino slaves, including a Cyborg that became possessed by Pink Shoes.
It can be encountered in the Mirror Dungeon through Abnormality events.
'You Want To Get Beat? Hurtily?' acts as the boss of the Cyborgs. In addition to the story dungeon, it can also be encountered on Thursdays in Thread Luxcavation, and as a potential boss in the Mirror Dungeon. It is the source of the E.G.OScrewloose Wallop.
Have You Become Strong is a large upgrade factory, with the appearance of a freight container made of smooth and colorful plastic. It is never shown in full, but parts of it can be seen in cutscenes and in the background of battles. These parts include a hydraulic press, an industrial crusher, and conveyor belts outfitted with robotic arms that are carrying crates and body parts for the Cyborgs.
'Become Strong? Genuinely?' has the appearance of a casino slave with colorful toy-like prosthetics replacing their arms and legs, and a wind up key inserted into the top of its head. Parts of its body are splattered in paint blots while other parts have screws sticking through them. It wields a long double-sided spear. 'Grown Powerful! For Realsies?' has a similar appearance, though it lacks a wind-up key and it instead wields a sword.
'You Want To Get Beat? Hurtily?' has a more robotic appearance with nearly the entire body being covered with multi-colored prosthetics. Only the left arm of the person inside is left exposed. It possesses a golden chestplate, a large red right arm, and a bucket-like helmet with eyes and a push-pin in it for a head.
The Cyborgs
Have You Become Strong is never fought directly, only being present in the background as the Sinners face off against the Cyborgs.
The Cyborgs exclusively use Pride skills. The vast majority of their skills utilize minus coins, incentivizing rolling tails, and typically inflict no Status Effects. All three of them also use a guard skill with a minus coin, and a single plus coin skill that increases their skill power at the cost of HP.
As the Abnormality cannot be fought directly, it lacks its own Observation Log.
Log Writer: Ishmael
A bunch of creeps walked out of that container box. Wearing tin cans on their heads, torsos made up of some sort of plastic... It's hard to explain. It was like someone arbitrarily put together pieces of random toys. On top of unmatching colors, some straight up lacked frames to cover up the mechanisms. They weren't all machines, either. Between the parts, I saw bits of flesh and dried blood... Just what is going on inside that box? → Umm... Maybe it's a type of automated prosthetic procedure device? A company my father considered buying was… N-Never mind. Forget I said anything. (Sinclair) → Abnormalities are not real devices. I recommend against trying to make ties with existing things. (Faust)
They're tough. These things are way tougher than they look. I thought they'd be as easy to deal with as children's toys, but I way misjudged... I thought I'd seen my share of extraordinary things throughout my career of unpleasant jobs, but it looks like I still have much to see and learn. There has to be a human inside… but they acted like broken killing machines. Their upper body rotates all the way round, and their arms moved weirdly, too. And most of all… It's like they're incapable of feeling pain. I heard some alleys in the Backstreets provide a surgery that fries pain receptors. Could this be similar? → As I repeatedly assert, Abnormalities are entities of their own category. You shouldn't construe them with the City's standards, Ishmael. (Faust) → And yet Abnormalities physically exist in this realm. If the properties of a thing aren't determined by the laws of the space it exists in, can it truly be said to exist? (Yi Sang) → The hell are you yapping on about? (Heathcliff) → I don't believe it's necessary for you to understand, Heathcliff. (Ishmael) → Huh? Is my name written here somewhere? How'd you know it was me? (Heathcliff) → …Funny. [A cigarette burn is left on the paper.] (Ryōshū)
I think I have an idea now. When I approached the fainted tin men, I heard mechanical noises. It sounded like things were being fixed within. If I had to guess… They seem to be equipped with devices that automatically repair their bodies. But, the device didn't seem capable of carrying out more than five repairs. Only trouble is that they grow stronger each time they're fixed up… We should find a way to deal with them and stop this repair mechanism from getting to work. Until then, we'll have to bear with their five lives… Oh, by the way: How do you think the 'human' parts inside are being repaired? → Do not question the physics of Abnormalities. (Faust)
Mirror Dungeon Event
Mirror Dungeon Event
This place is brimming with the high-pitched screech of metals and industrial machine hammers slamming into something.
Following the clamor led us to what looks like a plastic toy model of a factory.
This smoke-fuming factory of mysterious products churns on and on.
A large octagonal screw tumbles out of the factory.
Take it. Select to gain a Charge E.G.O Gift
We picked up the massive octagonal screw.
There's no reaction from the factory even as we get further and further away.
It continues to churn and spew fumes as though to say that it has no need of the screw.
E.G.O Gift T-1B Octagonal Bolt obtained!
Leave it there.
We stood there for a while, waiting to see what might happen. The screw eventually rolled its way back into the factory.
Was it a part of the factory, or was it the very thing that the factory produces?
Though there was no way for us to know for sure, I could tell that the metallic noises coming from the factory sounded a tad more coordinated.
All Allies healed for 10 HP and SP.

The passive shared by the Cyborgs 'You Must Become Strong', is a reference to the Abnormality 'You Must Be Happy'.
The E.G.O 'Screwloose Wallop' was previously titled 'You Want To Get Beat? Hurtily?'. This was changed with the April 20th 2023 update.
Screwloose Wallop's source is listed as 'You Want To Get Beat? Hurtily?' rather than 'Have You Become Strong' itself, making it currently the only E.G.O to originate from an Abnormality's sub-entity.
Have You Become Strong has an associated E.G.O Gift "Made-to-Order", which is exclusively found in the Floor Theme Automated Factory in the Mirror Dungeon.
The Thread Luxcavation event for this Abnormality was previously titled 'The Cyborgs'.
Using the number keys 1, 2 and 3, it is possible to open/close the doors and change the LED display when 'Have You Become Strong' is in the background of a battle. [1]
When a Cyborg's SurgerySurgeryDie when Count reaches 5. Reduce Max HP by 20% per Count (X). Deal +20% damage per Count (X). Turn Start: Gain X Haste. Count reaches 5, they die. This may be a reference to how in Lobotomy Corporation, an employee dies after using 'You Must Be Happy' 5 times.
This is also reflected in the second combat event, where if the buttons on the machine are pressed 5 times (before 'No' can be pressed 3 times), it will cause the factory to explode.
In the "Lacking Data" portion of the observation log, Sinclair's comment hints that his father worked on the manufacturing of prosthetics, before it is properly established in Canto III.
