My Form Empties (M-04-04-04) is a WAW-class Abnormality that is fought on Station 13 (the Terminus) of Line 1: MADNESS.

It can also be encountered in the Mirror Dungeon through Abnormality events, and as a potential boss.

It is the source of the E.G.O Ya Śūnyatā Tad Rūpam.

Appearance

My Form Empties is a stone statue of Buddha (a Buddha Mūrti) resting on top of a bronze-colored stone seat. Several cracks in the statue expose muscles and sinews within the Abnormality's interior. Breaking the Stone Seat also reveals a brain-like lump of flesh resting inside of it.

The statue is seen making Mudrās (symbolic gestures), with the left hand resting in its lap with its fingers curled, while the right hand is raised with the tip of the middle finger joined to the thumb's. While the face carved into the statue has a calm expression with closed eyes, a crack over the left eye reveals a red, glowing eye.

While the Abnormality remains stationary, it is described in the Observation Log to be perpetually levitating in the air. A red ring, linking small stone fragments, rotates behind it. It is accompanied by a floating khakkhara which it uses to attack its opponents (and occasionally its allies as well).

Recording the information gained from an encounter with the entity.
This entity was first identified by the Preliminary Observation of LCC Before Team, and it was to be captured by After Team's Special Ops department.
However, it appears that we encountered it through the mirror before they could perform the task.
With the above-mentioned facts in consideration, I will describe the information gathered from Before Team's observation and our encounter with it in a comprehensive manner.
-The Abnormality is speculated to be a statue created as an idol for worship.
-The Abnormality appears to be floating in the air at all times, and shows no particular movement outside of gesturing with one hand.
-Is ■■■■ with a related Abnormality ■■■■■■; may suggest a connection of some kind, though details are unclear. [Authorization from a higher security level is required to access the data.]
-Similar to how it floats, it attacks by "levitating" objects and sending them flying.

Recording the information gained from encountering the entity in battle.
I will describe its behavior during combat.
It was always accompanied by a group of followers. Observation suggested that they were under the influence of a type of mind control. The lack of any common factors shared by all followers in terms of attire or other external features added further plausibility to the speculation.
It appears to attack using a khakkhara holding spiritual significance.The staff floated in a similar manner to the Abnormality. It looks as though the staff has its own sentience.
Also, due to an unidentified interference...most attacks proved ineffective.
Attacks to the core will not achieve much until the cause is found.

Recording the reason for the unsuccessful attacks.
Its followers appear to be directly linked to the Abnormality.
The Abnormality will most likely not suffer meaningful damage until all followers have been defeated.
There seems to have been a kind of contractual obligation that requires the followers to protect the Abnormality.
There is another discovery to report.
After its body has been broken and the head has fallen, it started attacking its own followers at random.
Although breaking the body was an arduous task, it proved to be quite effective for its suppression.

A bell occasionally tolls in the red room.
It’s a heavy, subduing sound.

The statue is chanting something.
You’re unable to recognize its words.

But, you feel that whatever it is,
is not a joyous thing.

There’s a brass ring on the statue’s finger.

Listen closer. Pass Condition: Team Average SP ≥ 0 Check Passed You close your eyes and focus on the sound. You are able to pay closer attention to what it is saying. It is uttering its thoughts in the form of a mantra. It is emptying itself by verbalizing its thoughts. In that case, you will absorb its teachings. Fill yourself with the sermon it has gouged out. While it has forgotten itself, you gain a clearer sense of self. All allies heal 15 HP and SP. Check Failed You close your eyes and focus on the sound. What is it saying? This thing is uttering thoughts. Empty oneself by verbalizing one’s thoughts. Expel everything within so that nothing remains. That is the statue’s way of forgetting the self. You sense yourself disappearing as well. Nothing happened.

Take the brass ring. Lust & Gluttony Advantage check. Pass to gain a Keywordless E.G.O Gift. Who should do it? This statue won’t move, no matter what happens around it. Though it stays forever still, and the tone of its mantra remains consistent… You knew one thing. Its chants are imbued with a curse. E.G.O Gift Bloody Gadget obtained! Identities without Lust Sin Affinity Attack Skill take 10 SP damage! Check Failed You tried to pick up the ring in its hand. Its wrist suddenly spun in a circle. You reach for the ring again, but that wrist keeps moving, denying you. It could be conveying that you are unworthy. Nothing happened.

Place a coin. Win the battle to earn a Keywordless E.G.O Gift and a Sinking E.G.O Gift You place a coin before the grand Buddha Mūrti. With the ceaseless chanting gone, only the hollow echo of the bell bounces off the walls of the chamber. Perhaps the touch of secularity in the face of an emptying form has triggered something. • My Form Empties and its E.G.O are based on the Buddhist concept of Śūnyatā (emptiness/nothingness).
  • The name of its E.G.O, Ya Śūnyatā Tad Rūpam (य शून्यता तद् रूपम्), roughly translates to "that which is emptiness is its form" or "the form of emptiness". It is a line from the so-called Heart Sutra.

The False Halo E.G.O Gift

• In Buddhism, it is believed that there are 108 temptations one must overcome in order to reach nirvana. This is reflected in My Form Empties' unique status effect—Karma KarmaTake +X% damage. Turn End: Die at 108+ Count.—which instantly kills a unit once the Count reaches 108.
  • This is also partially reflected by one of its associated E.G.O Gifts—"False Halo"—which uses the special status effect Dhyāna Dhyāna- Max Stack: 108
    - Deal +1% damage for every Stack that stacks up to 108 times.
• My Form Empties has a unique battle theme titled Budda.
• The observation log states a potential connection to another Abnormality, though its identity is left redacted.
• My Form Empties has an associated E.G.O Gift "False Halo", which is exclusively found in the Floor Theme Line 1 in the Mirror Dungeon.
• When Risk Classifications were updated with the release of Intervallo V: LCB Regular Check-up, My Form Empties was revealed to be the highest-grade Abnormality the Sinners had yet encountered.
