Fairy Gentleman (F-01-11-12) is a TETH-class Abnormality encountered during Canto IV. It was contained in its ovate form by the Technology Liberation Alliance who were able to extract E.G.O equipment from it. It later escaped and is battled in the Reminisced League of Nine Dungeon.

It can also be battled on Tuesdays in Thread Luxcavation, encountered in the Mirror Dungeon through Abnormality events and as a potential boss, and on Station 7 of Line 2: Möbius.

It is related to Fairy Festival from Lobotomy Corporation and Fairy-Long-Legs, and is the source of the E.G.O Sloshing.

Appearance

Fairy Gentleman appears as a stout humanoid whose body is made up of a green jelly-like substance. It has a pair of pointy, pig-like ears, and what appears to be another longer pair of ears drooping down. Two sets of fairy wings can be seen protruding from its back.

Apart from the toothy grin on its face, the Abnormality possesses a second larger maw that is located on its stomach. Both the teeth and tongue lolling out from this mouth are green just like the rest of Fairy Gentleman's body. The slime that composes its body is viscous in nature. During combat, Fairy Gentleman is able to stretch and morph its body into various shapes.

Fairy Gentleman sports a bowler hat and black tie. It also carries a wine glass in its right hand, filled with Fairy Wine.

Pah, anyway... I'll write down what I know about that rotten tea-flavor jelly thingy.

If you're asking how I know it in so much detail~

...It's 'cause I got put in that gross maw of his.

I mean, as soon as our eyes met, he flew up, like swoosh~ all of a sudden and then squashed me with the mouth on its belly! Like, splorch, y'know?

It smelled so bad… Ugh, I hate it so much.

Oh... Now that I think about it, the smell itself wasn't all that weird.

It was just too... woefully sweet, I guess? My nose almost got numbed.

Anyway, it felt really weird.

Grr... This guy really ticks me off.

I dunno if it's the wobbly body, but every move of his feels so annoying! Especially when he dodges my attacks.

It's just like dealing with bullies on the streets as a kid. Y'know, how they laugh at you like 'Haha, can't even hit me?'. This is just like that…

Hngh... I guess I got really stressed out. I'm feeling a bit dizzy, too…

Anyway... It did help with figuring some stuff out, so I hope you'll show some forgiveness.

Here's what I can tell for sure: those bits of jelly that fly around as we fight boost our morale.

And, the boost gets more powerful as the battle goes on.

When someone whose morale is at its highest... I mean, like MAX! Kinda highest... breaks the glass of booze~

Bingo! That person gets super drunk right away!

Once someone got drunk, their attacks would get weaker and miss a lot more easily.

And here's the catch~ The fatty jelly fella gobbled up one of our drunk pals once, right? Then he suddenly got all weird and stumbly!

We took the chance and swept him off the floor~~

The cavern is full of smells, good and bad.

“Been a while since I had visitors! I oughta give you a right treat.”

“Plum outta luck for eatery, I’ve already had all the food.”

“Straight as you can see, this glass o’ fairy wine is all I have.”

“Would ya care for a drink?”

A thick, slimy hand makes its offer.

Nod. The glass smells awful. It stinks like a moldy shoe sprayed with some flowery air freshener. The limbs of fairies float in the liquid. “Help yourself!”

Share it with everyone. The glass is rather large for just one person. You decide to share it with everyone, and slowly sip your portion. An unpleasant texture tingled your throat, but it was surprisingly tasty otherwise. All Allies heal 15 HP. Identities with Gluttony Sin Affinity Attack Skill heal 10 SP.

Let one person drink it all. You had the thirstiest one drink it all. It apparently tastes pretty good, but they kept heaving. There’s an odd, bothering feeling in their throat. They also complained that the bits of fairy flesh are bitter. Their thirst was quenched, but it might have only been replaced with another problem. The Ally with lowest HP heal 40 HP. The Ally with lowest HP lose 10 SP.

Shake your head. Select to gain a Tremor E.G.O Gift You turn down the possibly cordial offer. “Really now? No need to hold back.” The green blob swallowed down the contents in one gulp, not bothering to ask you twice. “Well, can’t have a visitor leave empty-handed. Why don’tcha take this glass at the very least?” Looking into it, you still find the green substance inside. There’s no way at all to tell what it drank. E.G.O Gift Green Spirit obtained!

E.G.O

The Sloshing E.G.O is extracted from Fairy Gentleman. It is seen during the events of Canto IV, where members of the Technology Liberation Alliance utilize the Lobotomy E.G.O in battle against the Sinners.

Ishmael's Lobotomy E.G.O Identity was added in the Season 2 Target Extractions as a Seasonal Identity and can be obtained through the Dispenser from Season 4 onward.

Trivia

• Like other fairy Abnormalities, Fairy Gentleman's acts of kindness have an ulterior motive. While it shares its wine with others, it does so to improve their taste before eating them.
• It shares a lot of similarities with Fairy-Long-Legs, another TETH-class Abnormality with ties to Fairy Festival. Both sport similar attire, and have green goopy bodies with a maw in their abdomen.
  • Both Abnormalities can also be fought together in Line 2: Möbius.
  • Wonderlab introduced an Aberration of Fairy Festival called Titania, though it does not display similar traits to Fairy Gentleman or Fairy-Long-Legs.
• Fairy Gentleman may draw inspiration from absinthe, which is referred to in historical literature as "the green fairy".
  • The E.G.O Gift "Green Spirit" is likely a play on words, with spirit both referring to an alcoholic beverage as well as a supernatural entity such as a fairy.
