Behavior

Doomsday Calendar's fight is made up of 4 phases. This section will break down the details of each phase.

Phase 1

Doomsday Calendar starts this phase alongside 2 Doomsday Clay Doll. It is untargetable during this phase, and also has no actions. The Clay Dolls must be defeated to start phase 2.

Phase 2

Doomsday Calendar grows two arms in this phase, and respawns the two Doomsday Clay Doll and then spawns one more. At the start of turn 2 in this phase, an Abnormality event starts. The player must choose to either sacrifice a Sinner (losing 20 HP in the progress), or sacrifice a slain Doomsday Clay Doll.

Combat Event

The Abnormality looks upset.
It seems to want something, but what should we give?

There are many ways to calm one down,
but this Abnormality seems to like gifts the most.
A fresh batch of blood might be able to appease it.

Offer a clay doll.
(Only available if a Clay Doll was killed during this phase)

To progress to the next phase, you must either destroy both arms, or bring the Abnormality's HP down to 70%.

For its attack pattern in this phase, it will always use 3 skills. One skill will always be Slam with a random arm, the second will be either Slam or Quake, and the third skill will be either Quake or Live Offering. If one arm is broken and the other arm is intact, then it will exclusively use the remaining arm for its attacks. However, it has a 50% chance to only use 2 actions instead of 3, and only use the Slam/Quake and Quake/Live Offering skills.

Phase 3

Doomsday Calendar loses its arms, and the Face becomes the only targetable component. All 3 Clay Dolls are replaced by fully healed Burning Clay Doll, and then a fourth one also spawns. The Frenzy passive activates, which burns the Sinners every turn. At the start of turn 3 in this phase, you must once again sacrifice a Sinner (losing 30 HP in the progress) or a Clay Doll to the Abnormality. Success removes the Frenzy passive.

Combat Event

The heat of the Abnormality is wearing everyone down.
We’ll have to make an offering to calm its wrath.

To weaken the flame, you’ll need cool water.
Since we aren’t carrying any buckets of water, we should offer up someone cool instead.

(Only available if a Clay Doll was killed during this phase)

To progress to the fourth and final phase, you must bring the Abnormality's HP down to 30%. Alternatively, if you fully deplete its health bar, the 4th phase will be skipped as it will be suppressed.

For its attack pattern, it will exclusively use Stalwart Altar in this phase.

Phase 4

All 4 Clay Dolls respawn and are fully healed. In this phase Doomsday Calendar will use the skill Universe Aflame, which targets all allies and rolls a whopping 35 to 45, instantly killing them. At the start of the next turn, one final Abnormality event begins where you must sacrifice a Sinner.
