Extraction is the core "gacha" system of Limbus Company, and the primary method for obtaining new Identities and E.G.O.
Overview
Each extraction costs 130 
Lunacy or one 
Extraction Ticket. There is also an additional option for the player to do one extraction using 13 Paid Lunacy daily (resets each day at 5:00 KST). Alternatively, the player can also perform ten consecutive pulls together for 1300 Lunacy, 10 Extraction Tickets , or one 
Decaextraction Ticket. Doing a 10-pull guarantees at least one 
-rarity Identity.
Four different types of items can be acquired form Extraction. There are three different rarities of Identities (
, , 
), E.G.O Skills that give unique E.G.O moves to each sinner, and announcers. Announcers are only available either on Walpurgis Night banners or during limited periods after they release.
All time-limited banners have a pity system called Ideality. Once you have done 200 extractions on the banner, you can exchange for one of the featured Identities/E.G.O/Announcers or from a set pool of Announcers. If the banner expires, any remaining ideality will be converted to 
Thread.
Pity System (Yisang / Ideality)
For all time-limited extraction banners, a pity system exists. For every extraction, 1 point of 
Ideality is accumulated, and 200 points of Ideality can be exchanged for a featured Identity, E.G.O, Announcer, or one of the following Announcers:
When the banner ends, all unused Ideality will be converted into Thread of an equal amount.
Probabilities
Note that E.G.O Skills cannot be extracted repeatedly. Once acquired (through any method), they will be removed from the extraction pool. This means all E.G.O available in regular extraction ( Season 0 / Standard Fare and all Seasonal E.G.O) can be acquired eventually. E.G.O from previous season passes or events are not in the normal extraction table.
Walpurgis Night Probabilities
Walpurgis Night is an event that happens quarterly, and usually lasts for two weeks. During this time, an event extraction banner will be available. This banner will also include Announcers and a group of special Walpurgisnacht Identities and E.G.O. Like other event banners, featured Identities, E.G.O, and announcers will have increased rates of extraction.
During Walpurgis Night, Walpurgisnacht Identities and E.G.O become available in all extraction tables, not just the Walpurgis Night banner. This means it is possible to acquire Walpurgisnacht Identities from any source. While the event is running, Identities and E.G.O from previous Walpurgis Nights will be available for purchase in the Dispenser. Walpurgisnacht announcers are only available on Walpurgis Night banners.

Note that E.G.O Skills cannot be extracted repeatedly. Once acquired (through any method), they will be removed from the extraction pool. E.G.O available for extraction ( Season 0 / Standard Fare, Walpurgisnacht, and all Seasonal E.G.O) will maintain their 1.3% extraction rate until all E.G.O have been extracted. This means that already owning a large number of E.G.O increases the likelihood of acquiring a Walpurgisnacht E.G.O.
Standard Extraction
The Standard Extraction banner is a permanently-available banner where there is an equal chance of receiving any Identity/E.G.O currently available for extraction. The rules and rates are listed above. There is no pity system ( Ideality) associated with this banner.
Walpurgis Night Announcers are not available on the Standard Extraction banner, but extractable Announcers are.
Target Extraction banners increase the probability rates for the featured Identities and/or E.G.O. They come in the form of New Identity / E.G.O Target Extractions, Sinner specific Target Extractions, or Faction specific Target Extractions, and run for a limited time. The Banner History contains current and past Target Extractions.
3★ Identity Assured Extractions are a unique type of banner which can only be pulled on using a 
3★ Guarantee Decaextraction Ticket and guarantee at least one Identity with every 10-pull. These only appear in the Extraction menu when the player has one of these tickets in their inventory. E.G.O cannot be obtained from 3-Star Identity Assured Extractions.
There are seasonal versions of the 3★ Identity Assured Extraction that only include Identities from a specific Season and its Events. These [Season X] 3★ Guarantee Decaextraction Tickets are generally obtainable during the season, typically from the Battle Pass, Refraction Railway, or events.

The New Manager's Welcome Extraction is a banner for new accounts, featuring reduced Lunacy costs and a guaranteed Identity within 20 extractions. After 20 extractions, the banner disappears and is no longer available.
It costs 80 Lunacy for one pull, making it ~38.4% less than the usual 130 Lunacy. The banner shares its rates with Standard Extraction apart from the guarantee.
