Extraction is the core "gacha" system of Limbus Company, and the primary method for obtaining new Identities and E.G.Os.

Overview

Each extraction costs 130 Lunacy or one Extraction Ticket. There is also an additional option for the player to do one extraction using 13 Paid Lunacy daily (resets each day at 5:00 KST). Alternatively, the player can also perform ten consecutive pulls together for 1300 Lunacy, 10 Extraction Tickets , or one Decaextraction Ticket. Doing a 10-pull guarantees at least one -rarity Identity.

Four different types of items can be acquired form Extraction. There are three different rarities of Identities (, , ), E.G.O Skills that give unique E.G.O moves to each sinner, and announcers. Currently, announcers only appear on Walpurgis Night banners.

All time-limited banners have a pity system called Ideality. Once you have done 200 extractions on the banner, you can exchange for one of the featured Identities or E.G.O. If the banner expires, any remaining ideality will be converted to thread.

The base rates for Identities when performing a singular Extraction are as follows:

These same rates apply to a Decaextraction ("10-pull")'s 1st to 9th pull. The final pull will change to these following rates, regardless of what has been obtained in the previous 9. This guarantees at least one -rarity Identity or higher will be extracted.

ⵜ Note that E.G.O Skills cannot be extracted repeatedly. Once acquired (through any method), they will be removed from the extraction pool. This means all E.G.O available in regular extraction ( Season 0 / Standard Fare and the current Season) can be acquired eventually. E.G.O from previous season passes or events are not in the normal extraction table.

Extraction Without E.G.O

If the player has managed to acquire all currently available E.G.O, therefore removing all of them from the possible Extraction table, the rates for any future Extractions will change as follows:

Walpurgis Night Probabilities

Walpurgis Night is an event that happens quarterly, and usually lasts for two weeks. During this time, an event extraction banner will be available. This banner will also include Announcers and a group of special Walpurgisnacht Identities and E.G.O. Like other event banners, featured Identities, E.G.O, and announcers will have increased rates of extraction.

During Walpurgis Night, Walpurgisnacht Identities and E.G.O become available in all extraction tables, not just the Walpurgis Night banner. This means it is possible to acquire Walpurgisnacht Identities from any source. While the event is running, Identities and E.G.O from previous Walpurgis Nights will be available for purchase in the Dispenser (shop). Walpurgisnacht announcers are only available on Walpurgis Night banners.

‡ Announcers can be extracted repeatedly, but on acquisition of a duplicate, they will be replaced with 50 Thread Crates.

ⵜ Note that E.G.O Skills cannot be extracted repeatedly. Once acquired (through any method), they will be removed from the extraction pool. E.G.O available for extraction ( Season 0 / Standard Fare, Walpurgisnacht, and the current Season) will maintain their 1.3% extraction rate until all E.G.O have been extracted. This means that already owning a large number of E.G.O increases the likelihood of acquiring a Walpurgisnacht E.G.O.

Types of Extraction Banners

Standard Extraction

The Standard Extraction banner is a permanently-available banner where there is an equal chance of receiving any Identity/E.G.O. currently available for extraction. The rules and rates are listed above. There is no pity system (Ideality) associated with this banner.

New Identity / E.G.O Target Extraction

A banner that increases the probability rates for receiving the featured Identities and/or E.G.Os, typically done in pairs of either 1 and 1 Identity, or 1 Identity and 1 E.G.O. If there are multiple new targets in one category (i.e. 2 identities), the targeted rate will be split evenly between them.

Sinner Target Extraction

A banner that increases the probability rates for receiving the Identities and E.G.Os of a specific Sinner. All identities for that sinner will be available in the banner, regardless of season extraction rules.

ⵜ Note that E.G.O Skills available for extraction differ from the standard extraction pool. E.G.O's available consist of Season 0 / Standard Fare, the current Season, and any Event E.G.O of the target sinner. This is currently the only method to acquire event E.G.O through Extraction. Pass E.G.O are not included.

Special Extraction Banners

3-Star Identity Assured Extraction

A unique 10-pull only banner that allows the player to receive at least one 3-Star Identity with a 100% guarantee. Only appears in the Extraction menu when the player has a 3-Star Guaranteed Decaextraction Ticket in their inventory.

There has also been an alternative version of this banner that only includes Identities from a specific season. These [ Season X ] 3★ Guarantee Decaextraction Ticket are generally rewards during the season in question, like the Season Pass, the Refraction Railway or the event of the Intervallo Chapter.

New Manager's Welcome Extraction

A temporary banner where there is an equal chance of receiving any particular Identity/E.G.O, sharing rates with Standard Extraction. This banner is activated for new accounts only. It can only be extracted a certain amount of times before expiring - Lunacy costs are reduced by ~38.4%.
