Trivia
- "To Páthos Máthos" (Greek: Το Παθός Μαθός), means "Suffering becomes Experience".
- The phrase is a variant of pathei mathos (πάθει μάθος, ‘learning through suffering’), a quote originating from Agamemnon, the Ancient Greek general responsible for bringing Odysseus (alias, Outis) into the Trojan War by threatening to kill his infant son.
- The shadow cast by Outis in the illustration resembles a Caduceus (Latin: cādūceus, from Greek: κηρύκειον kērū́keion or "herald's wand, or staff"). This symbol also appears on a patch on the coat worn by Outis when using this E.G.O.
- The Caduceus is the symbol of Hermes, which ancient sources associate him with a variety of attributes, including wisdom, trade, deception, thievery, eloquence, negotiation, and alchemy.
- The Caduceus is oftentimes confused or misused as a symbol for medicine; the correct iconography is the Rod of Asclepius.
