Forsaken Employee

Forsaken Employee is a non-fightable Abnormality commonly found in the Mirror Dungeon.

It is related to Forsaken Murderer from Lobotomy Corporation.

Appearance

Forsaken Employee resembles a humanoid wearing a red suit and tie, with a box of Enkephalin encasing its head and a rubber O-ring around its neck preventing any Enkephalin from spilling. Its body is completely wrapped in chains, binding the Abnormality's arms and legs.

It more specifically resembles an employee who worked at one of L Corp.'s branches. Following the completion of the Seed of Light Project, all of L Corp.'s branched initiated site burials, trapping the employees inside. Forsaken Employee appears to be a manifestation of how the employees felt abandoned and forsaken by the company.

Tang- Tang- Tang-

The sound of plastic crashing is accompanied by the sloshing of a liquid.

It looks like something that used to be an employee of a company.

Its identity is evidenced by the now-worn formal outfit and the employee card.

The card is almost too battered and contaminated to recognize.

Wearing a box filled with Enkephalin on their head, the employee rams it into what looks like the door to a containment unit.

A rubber O-ring is worn around their neck. Could it be there to prevent Enkephalin from spilling?

Cut the ring.

The O-ring snaps rather easily. It might have been weakened by age.

"Kff, kurgh..."

As Enkephalin pours out of the box, we face the person bloated and drenched with the substance through the glass window on the box.

Knowing that it is no longer human, sympathy causes a hand to be offered.

"Put it away."

It spoke.

"This was the only choice I had. To survive..."

"We were buried here with no hopes of rescue. We've been abandoned."

"I... We shoved our heads into Enkephalin so that we can endure the time."

The explanation is then followed by resentment.

"Why are you trying to save us after all this time? I want nothing more than to dip my head into that green water right now!"

Its face was full of anger, it ran off with the empty box still on its head.

All that it left was a small employee card and the guilt of doing what shouldn't have been done.

Was the ring sturdier than it seemed, or was it the lack of skill?

The blade kept bouncing off the slippery O-ring...

"Brgrrgh..."

And the submerged thing pushed you away and ran off.

Did it prefer to stay like that?

All it left was a small employee card.

Don't cut the ring.
Tang- Tang- Tang- The ramming at the door and the sloshing continue.

I keep watching and listening.

A more attentive hearing reveals that the sounds have a rhythm. Perhaps there is delight to be found in it.

Nothing happened.
