Rose Hunter is a non-fightable Abnormality that can be encountered in Abnormality events in the Mirror Dungeon.

It is related to Snow White's Apple from Lobotomy Corporation.

Appearance

An armorer humanoid with a rose for a head in it's hands is a thorny whip. The Abnormality rides on a horse made out of thorns and vines.

This is a dark forest, full of fog and vine.

An apple, rotten but still moving, runs to me in a hurry.

"Please help me, I need to hide."

"I'm just a poor, tiny apple... Cursed and thrown away."

Before I could answer, the apple hid its small body behind my leg.

Amidst the fog of the viney forest, the clop of a horse is heard.

It's a giant horse made of vines.

Mounted on it was a being with the head of a rose.

The vine horse stands before me and lets out heavy breaths that reek of green grass.

"I am on the hunt for someone. It needs to be taken care of urgently."

"What I am looking for is an apple that will become a princess, not knowing its rightful place."

"It must have passed this way. Do you know what direction it has taken?"

It lashes at you viciously with a thorny snare... And when you managed to dodge the onslaught, you found that the snare caught the rotten apple. "This is the natural course. Accept it." Having caught the apple, it ran off in the other direction. The Selected Identity took 25 HP and SP damage!

• Rose Hunter appears to be based off of the huntsman from the fairy tale Snow White, who was ordered by the witch to kill Snow White.
• Rose Hunter states that it is looking for 'an apple that will become a princess'. This is a direct reference to Snow White's Apple.
  • It is unknown what relation the apple that appears in the Mirror Dungeon event has to Snow White's Apple. Though they both seem to share similarities of being rotten and 'cursed and thrown away'.
  • It is also unknown whether Rose Hunter has any relation to Ebony Queen’s Apple.
