The Researchers of the Ring? are a group of former Ring researchers who were involved with maintaining the Glass Pods in the basement of Wuthering Heights. They were disguised as members of Öufi Association and wore the uniform worn by fixers of the Association, although instead of wielding the signature halberds they instead battle with paintbrushes.

Fighting Style

Unlike the true members of the Öufi, the Researchers of the Ring? primarily revolve around Bleed. They rely exclusively on 3 coin Pierce Skills, with unusual resistances of 1.8x and 0.6x to Slash and Pierce. Their first skill is a Lust skill that simply inflicts Bleed on each coin. Their second skill is also Lust, which not only inflicts Bleed but also gains Base Power, heals SP, and inflicts Rupture based on the Bleed possessed by the target. Their third skill is Wrath that inflicts Def Level Down on heads. Additionally, if the target has a certain amount of Bleed, the first two coins will deal bonus damage based on damage dealt while the third coin causes the entire skill to be reused on a new opponent. Finally, they both have a simple Guard that grants 3 stacks of Damage Up if the shield was not fully depleted by Turn End. Passively, they gain Clash Power and further heal SP on hit against targets with Bleed.
