Chattering Teeth is a non-fightable Abnormality that can be encountered in Abnormality events in the Mirror Dungeon.

Appearance

Chattering Teeth is a trio of disembodied skulls with different expressions. One is laughing, the second appears angry, and the third has a deranged expression.

This is a dark cavern.

Sounds of hard objects hitting each other loudly echo at random intervals.

The noise is coming from three large skulls. They approach us, clacking and rattling.

They have no bodies. So they roll. They make noises endlessly even as they roll.

Looking at the three skulls that rolled at our feet, we find they have different expressions.

Should we choose one of them?

Choose the laughing skull.

Elated for whatever reason, it keeps clattering its teeth and wobbling on the hands.

All of a sudden, you feel your body getting lighter.

Looking around, you notice that everyone seems to be experiencing the same thing.

When you looked back at the hands, the skull disappeared before you could notice.

All Allies healed for 25 HP and SP.

Strangely enough, the skull's expression suddenly turned blank as soon as it was held.

Wondering what might be the problem, the Sinner moved their head closer to the skull, and...

The skull opened its jaws wide and bit [Sinner] before disappearing.

All Allies without Gluttony Affinity Attack Skill and Sloth Affinity Attack Skill took 20 HP and SP damage!

All of a sudden, the hands felt lighter.

The skull vanished into thin air, and a glowing object was left on the hands.

Just as you started to be unsure of what to do with it, the hands felt lighter, so you looked down...

And found that it turned into a tiny trinket.
