The event requires the player to have completed Canto IV: The Unchanging in order to access the event chapters. If the requirement is not fulfilled, Bus-modifying Scrap can still be obtained from clearing Main Story combat encounters for the first time and the Event Rewards page can still be accessed.
Even after the event period ends, its combat encounters and story will still be accessible at anytime through Drive and Theater - [Detour Tales].
New Identities & E.G.O
The following Identities and E.G.O were obtainable during the event period.
During the event period, playing through stages and dungeons will allow the player to earn [Bus-modifying Scrap] that will unlock additional Stages and can be then exchanged in the event's reward shop.
Playing through event Stages will award Bus-modifying Scrap based on the amount of Enkephalin consumed, with an additional reward for obtaining an EX Clear of the stage.
Repeated clears of an event Stage have an increased drop rate for Bus-modifying Scrap
The final stage of The Magic Hell Bus is a repeatable Boss encounter and has a much higher Enkephalin-to-Bus-modifying Scrap ratio.
Playing through older Main Story Stages and Dungeons will award Bus-modifying Scrap based on the amount of Enkephalin consumed.
Additionally, having the Event E.G.O in your Team loadout (even when not directly participating in battle) will boost the amount of Bus-modifying Scrap earned from stages and dungeons.
Identities and E.G.O obtained from Extraction boost rewards by 40%, while those obtained as an Event Reward boost rewards by 20%.
The boost from having multiple Identities and E.G.O is additive (decimals rounded up) and maxes out at a 120% bonus.
Rarely upon clearing any stage that can drop Bus-modifying Scrap, [Rare Horseshoe with Bus-modifying Scrap] (which will be automatically converted to 20 Bus-modifying Scrap) will drop. Rare Horseshoe with Bus-modifying Scrap have the highest chance to drop upon clearing event chapters.
Scrap Box
The [Scrap Box] provides various rewards based on the total number of Bus-modifying Scrap that has been obtained.
Rewards could be received from the Scrap Box for three weeks (July 27, 12:00 - August 17 09:59 KST).
Used to purchase various rewards from the Reward Exchange menu.

A large horseshoe-shaped item taken from the king trash crab. It could substitute several pieces of scrap, or so we're told.
Trivia
This event's name is most likely a reference to the media franchise The Magic School Bus. In the original TV series, the Magic School Bus transforms into other vehicles to be able to explore all types of terrain; this can be compared to Mephistopheles' transformation into a boat during the Intervallo.
This is the first event to not have an identical name to its corresponding Intervallo.
