Spider of Marriage
Spider of Marriage is a non-fightable Abnormality commonly found in the Mirror Dungeon.
Appearance
Spider of Marriage consists of a feminine and masculine humanoid stitched together through their backsides. Both don near featureless, white masks; the man wears a traditional black suit and tie, while the woman wears a white wedding gown and veil. While they swap positions according to the event encounter, when the bride half is inactive, its arms rest unnaturally in the air with blackened, clawed hands. Both halves carry a wedding ring on the expected finger.
Mirror Dungeon Event
It’s a spider’s nest made of thorny vines
and filled with flowers, perhaps once used for celebration.
The buds appear to be filled with someone’s blood.
The bride and groom crawl between them.
As they scuttle around,
blood seeps out of their hands and feet.
It appears that they change sides
before the bottom one loses too much blood.

Trivia
- The Abnormality represents the toxicity of both the conventions of marriage and the expectation to remain with one's partner for life.
- The name of its gift combined with its affinity is likely a reference to Pride and Prejudice.
