Der Freischütz (F-01-69) is a non-fightable HE-class Abnormality, that was originally contained at L Corp. Headquarters.

It can be encountered in the Mirror Dungeon through Abnormality events exclusively within the Full-Stopped by a Bullet Theme Pack.

It is the source of the E.G.O Magic Bullet.

Appearance

Der Freischütz appears as an imposing, shadowy humanoid figure with glowing blue eyes, draped in a blue cloak with gold trim. Beneath his cloak, he wears gray military garb on his torso, while his lower half appears shrouded in shadow. He carries a long rifle and is shown to sometimes hold a glowing, ethereal bullet.

• Der Freischütz translates to "the free shooter". He is likely based on the German opera of the same name.

• Both of this Abnormality's E.G.O Gifts contain references to previous games.
