• "La Sangre de Sancho" is Spanish for "The Blood of Sancho", a reference to Sancho Panza, a character from Miguel de Cervantes' Don Quixote, whom Don Quixote is directly based on.
  • Sancho Panza was the long-suffering squire of Alonso Quijano, otherwise known by his titular alias, Don Quixote.
• The superimposed shadow of a horse skeleton can be seen in the E.G.O art, referencing Rocinante.
• The window in the background of the art depicts the Eternal Parade of La Manchaland.
• The room in which Don Quixote is playing is very similar to the room in the Abandoned Lighthouse in which Vergilius found her.
• Upon completing Canto VII, the E.G.O's quote changes to: "▶️ Onward, Rocinante! Again and again, until the dream is within our grasp!"
