Reinforced Ampule Exchange
Reinforced Ampule Exchange was a non-fightable Abnormality formerly found in Sinner power-up nodes in the Mirror Dungeon.
The Abnormality and its event were removed on 29th June 2023, as part of the Mirror Dungeon rework.
Appearance
Reinforced Ampule Exchange is a machine consisting of many parts including a mechanical arm and an operating table. A display is connected to it, providing instructions on how to use the machine. Behind the display are numerous ampules containing liquids of various different colors.
Selecting an ampule, causes the mechanical arm to inject it via a needle into the subject on the operating table. The process appears to be painful.
Mirror Dungeon Event
The machine seemed to be well-maintained.
Not a single speck of dirt rested on its surface.
[Please select an ampule and go atop the table.]
Those were the instructions on the display next to it.
Behind that display, you see ampules containing
liquids of various colors, like red, green, and white.
You carefully get on the cold operating table.
Choose an ampule. [Confirmed choice of ampule.] A foreboding mechanical arm suddenly began to move, taking out your selection and plugging it into another machine. [The pain is temporary.] The arm swung wildly, jabbing a large needle into the Sinner. [Noise over 90 dB detected. More than 30 minutes of exposure may permanently damage eardrums.] The display plainly warned, but that obviously didn’t help palliate the scream. Event: Sinner Power-up! |
Trivia
- As part of the Mirror Dungeon rework, Sinner levels are fixed upon entering the Mirror Dungeon. Thus making this event redundant and leading to its removal.
