Zilu is an imposing woman with dark hair and a bandaged face, wearing a wide-brimmed straw hat wrapped with cloth, two strands of which hang off the hat, ending in a bright yellow color. She wears a bulky gray and segmented scarf over a set of robes, a thick chain across her chest that holds a large greatsword sheathed in a canister on her back. Her arms are wrapped in the same cloth that covers her face, with her hands ending in sharp claws. Her multi-layered robes have a pattern of two yellow-eyed hares along the hem.
Personality
Zilu is a silent person, following orders closely without much word. She is highly professional, choosing to remind her companions of not speaking about important matters in front of enemies. She remains highly loyal to Jia Qiu, returning to his side immediately upon his arrival, unfazed by the death of Shi Yihua. Her loyalty extends so far as to willingly sacrifice herself for those her master trusts, even if for others she has no connection to.
Story
Intervallo V: Nocturnal Sweeping
As the Family Hierarch Evaluation drew near, Jia Qiu, Zilu's master, allowed Shi Yihua to temporarily use Zilu and the other Heishou Pack Mao Branch members. Shi Yihua schemed to allow his family a greater standing among families, leading him to hiring several factions and people to assist him in securing a lead in the examinations.
As a part of Shi Yihua's plan, once the Sinners arrived in H Corp., they were led to Qingtao's trapped kezhan, and once they went to rest for the night, the Heishou Pack's Mao Branch began attacking the Sinners, killing several before being fended off. As they moved back to the central lounge, Shi Yihua and Zilu revealed themselves, beginning combat against the group. This fight would be cut short however, as Ricardo, a Big Brother of the Middle, appeared alongside a handful of Little Brothers who attacked those present. At the summit of the fight, Shi Yihua and Zilu fled to allow the Sweepers to deal with their enemies.
Having expected the Sweepers to kill Sinners and the Middle, the two prepared a final assault on the Sinners, though they did not get the chance to begin the attack as Jia Qiu and Zigong arrived. He exposed Shi Yihua's plot to give his family greater influence, which resulted in Shi Yihua begging his life. Shi Yihua started to share secrets of the Shi Family, but before he could share anything of importance, a Si Branch Heishou Pack member appeared and decapitated him. Jia Qiu told Zilu that there was no need to pursue the serpent and to return to him once she had finished the job, then left carrying the decapitated heads of Qingtao and Shi Yihua. Zigong reasoned that he would not have left the Sinners and Jia Xichun alive if he had wanted them dead, so she and Zilu soon left and returned to their master.
Canto VIII: The Surrendered Witnessing
Following the first round of the Family Hierarch Evaluations, Zilu accompanied her lord as he briefly exchanged words with Hong Lu.
During the second round of the war, Zilu battled her master's opponents alongside him. During battle against Hong Lu, she repeatedly joined combat at her master's word, while he attempted to parlay a true answer of what Hongyuan needs from his younger opponent.
Zilu was left in charge of forwarding information to Jia Qiu pertaining to external forces looking to cause a war of the Wings via abusing the power vacuum left prior to Jia Xichun's ascension to hierarch. Jia Qiu, looking to ensure Xichun's rise and the fall of the Xianren, requested the alliance alongside Hong Lu, to which he accepts. In return, he sends Zilu to meet up with the Sinners outside the Tiekan Temple, though she would not accompany them on the path to it.
Outside the temple, the Sinners encountered Lei Heng, a Capo IIII of the Thumb, and an incognito member of the Pinky. Zilu joins them via a makeshift passageway, having visibly battled other forces on her way there. In exchange for Wei's ensured safety, Lei Heng looks to land a single blow on Zilu, who he exposes as another member of the Pinky; Meizhelen the Tianjiu Star, the Unrestrained. Hong Lu, recognizing this would help Xichun be happy again, accepted Zilu's offer to do this. Using Shin to guard herself, Lei Heng viciously wounded her, leaving her unable to battle. A man of his word however, he kicked Wei to them. Zilu attempted to regain her strength until her master arrived, who battled in their stead as they continued through the temple. Despite her grievous injury, Zilu survived the encounter.
Days later, as the role of H Corp. Hierarch was secured by Xichun, Zilu accompanied her master in saying goodbye to the Sinners. While the group planned to continue on their path as members of the Pinky, Zigong reminded the faction of not discussing the faction's connection to the Finger lightly.
