District 24 (X Corp.)
X Corp. is one of the 26 Wings of the City, overseeing District 24.
Overview
X Corp. is in the Western quarter of the City and is known for its durable alloys and excavation sites. X Corp.'s alloys are widely known for their durability, and can be expensive or otherwise hard to come by due to their reliability in the construction of items.[1]
X Corp.'s excavation sites have the unique property of containing finished products instead of just natural materials, with items like superalloy microwaves and car tires being found during excavations.[2][3] The excavation sites within District 24 are commonly referred to as "hellholes" due to the monsters that live within them.[4] These monsters are highly dangerous, requiring those excavating items from the sites to hire Fixers or have experience with combat themselves. Fixers are also commonly hired to excavate items themselves, and are able to rent excavation gear for their contacts.[5] The excavation sites within Nests are typically managed and protected by organizations directly affiliated with the Wing, such as the District 24 Advanced Excavation Fellowship and the X Corp. Alloy Guardians.[6]
When the new Hierarch of H Corp. was in the process of taking the throne, X Corp. was one of several Wings that were prepared to start a Wing War to fight over who gained control over District 8. However, Hongyuan's new Hierarch completed her ascension before the war had a chance to begin and X Corp. as well as the other factions involved returned to their Districts.
