Wang Qingshan is a member of the Wang Family, as well as one of the many Family Hierarch Evaluation candidates competing for the role of Hierarch in District 8. She is a minor antagonist in Canto VIII: The Surrendered Witnessing.

Appearance

Wang Qingshan wears her deep blue hair in a bowlcut fashion, with straight bangs around the entire perimeter of her head. She wears a brown kasaya, with an orange robe overtop fastened by a large golden buckle. On her feet, she wears plain brown sandals. When encountered, she is bloodied and in a kneeling position, her clothes partially torn. She carries a japamala in her right hand.

Personality

Desperately hoping to prove herself to her family, Wang Qingshan is a devout woman hoping to win the role of Hierarch, bringing honor to her family if she succeeds. Despite the fact that she fled from past battles, she is willing to battle while injured, hoping to simply prove herself as worth her weight.

Story

Wang Qingshan participated in the Family Hierarch Evaluations. She succeeded in the first round, and was met in the second round, being first identified by Lin Daiyu. Here, she encountered Jia Qiu who bested her in combat, barely escaping his brutal attack. Begging Hong Lu for his coins, the rejection pushed her to fear for her life if she returned home a failure, leading her to attack Hong Lu and the Sinners with her remaining troops. Losing the short scuffle, she was shortly eliminated.

• Wang Qangshan's attire is the typical attire of a fully ordained Buddhist monk, featuring a layered set of kasaya robes, and completed with the japamala she carries.
