V Corp. is one of the 26 Wings of the City, overseeing District 22.
Overview
District 22 is in the southern quarter of the City, and is the setting of the first half of Leviathan. The Wing is led by the Elders of V Corp. who are known to manage arrangements with other Wings and keep in touch with powerful residents of the District, such as the Color Fixer the Red Gaze.[1] The Ring also holds considerable influence within the District.
District 22 was the home District of Vergilius and Lapis, the former originating from the Nest and the latter from the Backstreets. It is also the location of some key events and characters in Library of Ruina, most notably an incident in which 80,000 Nest residents were killed en masse by a case of the Distortion, The Crying Children.
