The Pinky
The Pinky is one of the Five Fingers, the five most powerful Syndicates in the City which hold enough influence to rival even the Wings.
Culture
The Pinky is a Finger shrouded in mystery, and many elements of how the Finger operates are still unknown. Members of the Pinky hide amongst the rest of society, infiltrating other organizations, even including the other Fingers. Their status as a member of the Pinky is kept secret, and due to the members only reuniting and working together in specific circumstances, they are almost always unaware of another's status as a Pinky member even when directly interacting with each other.[1] Members typically operate independently unless they have been given orders to gather, and they follow their own path even if it brings them into conflict with another member of the Pinky.[2]
Each member of the Pinky holds a seat named after a star, and a name unique to them. Seats can be vacated when a member is no longer active.[3] For example, Lei Heng's name within the Pinky was Chachihu the Winged Tiger, and held the seat of the Tiantui Star.
The members of the Pinky appear to have congregated in recent years, as the Pinky and the Ring were engaged in a war against each other in the Outskirts during the events of Library of Ruina.[4]

Trivia
- The Pinky appears to be based on the 108 Heroes from the 14th century Chinese novel Water Margin. Similar to the Pinky, the Heroes are a group that band together for justice, and each member carries a nickname and a title named after the stars of the Ursa Major constellation.
- Lei Heng is based on the eponymous character from Water Margin, sharing his nickname and title.
