Shi Huazhen is a member of the Shi Family, as well as one of the many Family Hierarch Evaluation candidates competing for the role of Hierarch in District 8. He is a minor antagonist in Canto VIII: The Surrendered Witnessing.
Appearance
Shi Huazhen is a shorter man with black hair, accented by two prominent blue streaks, and similarly colored eyes. He wears a fancy blue robe, over a changpao of the same color, his hands jammed into his pockets. He wears simple black, baggy pants and black shoes.
In combat, he carries a podao that has a golden circuitry pattern along its blade.
Personality
Shi Huazhen is hotheaded, and views himself as better than others. His cocky nature is shown when he refers to Jia Baoyu as a thing, and tries to hint him into remembering his name after he forgot.
Story
Shi Huazhen participated in the Family Hierarch Evaluations. He succeeded in the first round, and was met in the second round. During the encounter, he met Hong Lu and his faction early on, aiming to eliminate them and steal their coins quickly. He become irate at Hong Lu's unexpected alliance with Wang Zhao, and even angrier when Hong Lu failed to remember his name, attempting to clue him in on it. After losing to the Sinners, Shi Huazhen would be eliminated from the second round, and Hong Lu would manage to remember his name.
