Shan San (Hangul: 삼삼, Sam Sam) is a member of the Tri-axe Office found within District 8's Backstreets, a notably confident Fixer paid off by Shi Yihua. He is a supporting character in Intervallo V: Nocturnal Sweeping.
Appearance
Shan San is a man with short, dark hair and a small dark goatee, wearing a dark hat with a circular rim. He wears a matching changpao with three silver fastenings beneath the collar, as well as dark pants. He carries a scratched and bloodied axe with a wooden handle.
Personality
Shan San would initially act confident and professional, working in the bounds of his Office as he began a duel. However, once humiliated, he would become more vulgar and short-tempered, no longer caring about up-keeping his role professionally.
Story
Intervallo V: Nocturnal Sweeping
As the Family Hierarchy Evaluations draw near, Shi Yihua began scheming to allow the Shi family a greater standing among families, leading him to hiring several factions and subordinates to assist him in securing a lead in the evaluations. Among the groups hired would be the Tri-axe Office.
Shan San approached the Sinners as they arrive in District 8's Backstreets, where he would challenge Hong Lu to a duel according to his Office's proceedings. As the duel begins, he was offended by Hong Lu offering the first two actions in the battle, yet even with his arrogance, Shan San would be defeated before even landing a hit on his opponent. Angered and humiliated, Shan San ordered his men to attack Hong Lu and the Sinners, leading to all-out battle between the factions, ending in the Tri-axe Office's defeat.
