Season 7 - 蜘ノ糸ノ赤 [Kumo no ito • oti on akA]

Season 7: Kumo no ito • oti on akA (Japanese: 蜘ノ糸ノ赤) is the seventh season of Limbus Company, which began on December 31, 2025.

It consists of the game's ninth story chapter (Canto IX: The Unsevering), 7th Mirror Dungeon, and 4 E.G.O exclusive to the Season's Pass. Other content of this season has not yet been announced.

Special Package

Using 2700 Paid Lunacy (or 1700 Paid Lunacy after the Limbus Pass has been unlocked), a special package may be bought, which contains the Limbus Pass (if it has not been purchased yet), 10 Pass Levels, 1 Level Boost Ticket VI, and a Special Package Banner.

Trivia

The season's title (Kumo no ito • Aka no ito) translates roughly to "The Spider's Thread • Red Thread."
- This references a short story titled 蜘蛛の糸, Kumo no Ito (the Spider's Thread) written by Ryūnosuke Akutagawa. In this story, a sinner is offered a chance to climb out of hell by a spider's thread due to saving a spider during his life, but the thread snaps when he tries to stop other sinners from climbing up behind him. The story warns against worrying only about your own fate and not that of others.
- Aka no Ito (lit. Thread/String of Red) may reference multiple things:
  - The Asian belief of the red thread of fate, an invisible red thread that connects the fingers of destined lovers.
  - The red string (Hebrew: חוט השני, khutt hashani) from Kabbalistic tradition, in which a red string is used to ward off misfortune. This is most commonly seen in a red string tied around the wrist.
  - The Kautuka, a red or yellow ritual protection thread found in the Indian subcontinent. This thread serves both ritualistic and protective roles, and is sometimes involved in wedding rituals.
