Sin Resonance
Sin Resonance is a combat mechanic in Limbus Company.
Battle Information
Sin Resonance occurs when multiple Skills of the same Affinity are selected for use on the Dashboard. There are two types of Sin Resonance.
Resonance
Sin Resonance—shortened to "Reson." in the game—occurs when 2 or more Skills of the same Affinity are selected on the Dashboard, indicated by a corresponding '(AFFINITY)RES' label appearing besides each Skill's icon (i.e. "GLUT.RES" for
Gluttony Resonance).
Some Skill Effects and Passives conditionally activate depending on Sin Resonance for the Turn. For Passives, their activation is indicated by their names appearing over a Skill.
Absolute Resonance
Absolute Sin Resonance—shortened to "A-Reson." in the game—occurs when 3 or more Skills of the same Affinity are selected consecutively, indicated by the "A-RES" label appearing on each Skill's icon.
Separate chains of Absolute Sin Resonance are counted separately rather than in a sum, meaning 2 instances of 3 A-Reson. on the Dashboard will only count as 3 A-Reson. rather than 6.
Absolute Sin Resonance also counts as regular Sin Resonance, meaning 4 A-Reson. will count as 4 Reson. as well.
Offense/Defense Level Gain
Aside from activating Passives, E.G.O Gifts and Skill effects, Sin Resonance can also grant Skills an increase in Offense/Defense Level. Normal Resonance increases such stats in an increasing manner, meaning that the Skills on the right of the chain will gain more Offense/Defense Level, while Absolute Resonance grants all involved Skills an equal increase in Offense/Defense Level.
This can allow for underleveled Identities to Clash as well as one of normal Level, while the ones of normal Level will gain even more Clash Power and deal more damage.
The Offense/Defense Level increase of Skills based on Sin Resonance is as follows:

All Skills past the 11th will receive +11 Offense/Defense Level rather than increase endlessly.
