Marton (Hangul: 마튼, ma-teun) is an assistant researcher working for Limbus Company as part of the LCE team. He is equipped with an E.G.O Suit the team extracted from Faelantern.

Appearance

Marton is a tall man with dark blue hair worn in a parted manner and amber eyes. He is seen wearing an E.G.O Suit extracted from the Abnormality Faelantern, one featuring a dark overcoat made of a wooden surface with many eyes sprouting from the lower half, accompanied by a sprout that acts as a perch for the fairy associated with the Abnormality and E.G.O. Beneath his overcoat, he wears a gray suit jacket over a black suit paired with a blue tie. Atop his head, he wears two small twigs resembling horns. Typical of his department, he wears an LCE armband on his left arm.

Personality

Similar to his coworkers, Marton is a dedicated researcher focused on furthering the studies of the LCE Department. Despite the serious reputation they uphold, he also has a sly side, having made past bets with his coworkers, as well as knowingly mocking Don Quixote into having her remove Rocinante.

Story

Prior to Limbus Company

It is implied Marton was scouted from the Backstreets by Hohenheim, who would favor those from the area as possible candidates for hiring.

Intervallo V: LCB Regular Check-up

Marton was first introduced alongside his coworkers Hohenheim and Alyssa, featured as one of the three researchers looking to perform the dedicated LCB Health Check-up. Accompanying the group as a notetaker, he took part in the various tests as an observer, documenting the ways the Sinners would react to various stimuli.

Upon learning of Don Quixote's dependence on Rocinante to suppress her Bloodfiend nature, Marton and his coworkers goaded her into removing her sneakers in an attempt to gain greater research.

He remained present and assisting during Hohenheim's Distortion test, last seen as the group adjusted their glasses in the direction of the Sinners as they departed from the Limbus Company Headquarters.
