List of Floor Themes/Line 5

From Limbus Company Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

The Line 5 Theme Pack is related to Line 5: Merry Go Round and features several exclusive E.G.O Gifts. It is implemented into the game along with the Mirror of Immortality's [HARD] Difficulty.

Dungeon Layout

Similar to other Long Battle Theme Packs, Line 5 has a set layout, that being:

  • Two Dungeon Event nodes immediately after the Start node.
  • A Shop node after the Dungeon Event nodes.
  • The Boss node after the Shop node.

The two Dungeon Event nodes in the Pack will always feature the two of the three Choice Events unique to this Theme Pack.

Something is breathing heavily. The source of it, its form strange, lies there.

It appears to be an Abnormality. The thing is struggling to even breathe—its every breath is laborious and irregular.

Is it… crying?

Listen to the breathing.

We walked up to the Abnormality. Its desperate attempts at breathing were buried under the loud, exhaling-inhaling noise of an unknown gas.

When the Sinners inhaled the gas, they began to murmur amongst themselves about how it seemed to be clearing their heads.

"Nice, let's sit around here for a while and reap the benefits of this Abnormality before we—"

A dark silhouette, shaped like a human, jumped out of the Abnormality.
"Don't take my breath away," it seems to convey.

Who will stop the silhouette?

[Sinner] quickly bashes the silhouette away before it could do us any real harm, but it was no longer generating that beneficial gas.

The silhouette was siphoned back into the Abnormality. We decided to leave as soon as possible before we were attacked again.

… But it feels as though that Abnormality's breathing is still with us.

[Sinner] quickly stepped forward, but failed to strike the nigh-formless silhouette. [Sinner] suffered multiple wounds in the process.

Block your ears.
Listening to the pained breathing is heartrending.

The sheer sensation was so overwhelming that it was making me nauseous. The Sinners weren't doing much better, either; they were either grabbing their heads or were slowly getting drenched in cold sweat.

"P-plug your ears. I think this… this sound's driving me insane."

I tell the rest of the Sinners to follow suit, and we slowly start to feel better.

… The Abnormality continued to make that noise for a while, before falling completely silent.

The Carousel

The Carousel
MD The Carousel.png

Is that… a carousel?

There's an incandescent, almost blindingly bright structure radiating brightly in this dark space.

“…….”

"Oh my, something wrong?"

"Hm? N-nay, 'tis naught to worry."

The carousel seems to be occupying some Sinners' minds.

Should we stop by?

Stop by the carousel.
Lust & Sloth Advantage check. Pass to gain a Keywordless E.G.O Gift.
Upon closer inspection, the carousel seems to be spinning much faster than these things usually do.

\"… Aught seems to be within.\"

I follow where the Sinner's finger points, and find a strange light emanating from within.

Who shall demonstrate their bravery?

Somehow, [Sinner] manages to latch onto a horse on the carousel. A jolly, excited voice booms from somewhere—a hidden loudspeaker, perhaps.

"Con-gratulations! Claim your prize most fitting for such a wonderful and successful demonstration of courage!"

With that, the carousel slows down until it comes to full stop.

[Sinner] walks off the carousel and shows us what was inside the carousel.

"A-are you okay?!"

… The carousel was spinning too fast.

[Sinner], after gauging the madly spinning carousel for an opportunity, leaps onto it… but is promptly knocked to the ground, struck by a plastic horse.

I quickly run up to see if [Sinner] is okay. When I look up, the carousel is already gone, like an illusory dream.

Refracted Four-hundred Roses

MD Refracted Four-hundred Roses.png

The bloodsteeped petals are so crimson that one might almost mistake it to be bleeding.

Its stems, siphoning blood from somewhere to feed the petals, are twisted, dark, and red.

Vicious and sharp thorns riddle its skin.

But curiosity takes hold—perhaps breaking off a thorn might cause it to bleed?

[Sinner] snuck up to the rose, and with a fell swoop of their weapon…

… cleanly sliced a thorn off the stem. Bright red blood glugs out of the hole left behind.

Despite our concerns, it doesn't seem very irked by the fact that we had just cut off one of its thorns.

Relieved, we take the ominous thorn and leave the scene.

I don't think it's necessary to recount what happened to the Sinner thereafter.
