Han Hee-joon (Hangul: 한희준, han-hui-jun) is a Grade 2 Fixer of the Seven Association's South Section 2 who works under Lady Dias' orders, most frequently helping her in matters concerning Moses. He is Moses' former assistant as well as a veteran of the Smoke War, during which he was a member of the Udjat.
He is a supporting character in The Distortion Detective and first appeared in Chapter 4: An Unwelcome Guest.
Appearance
Han Hee-joon is a man slightly below average height with a slight figure and extremely pale skin. He has straight black hair that reaches to his chin, with long bangs parted at the middle and framing his eyes, and bright yellow eyes. He's typically seen wearing the uniform of Seven Association's Southern branch, consisting of forest green trousers and a matching single-breasted jacket with brown lapels over a black shirt and yellow tie. At his left lapel, Han Hee-joon sports the Association's pin.
Additionally, Han Hee-joon wears white rimmed rectangular glasses, and carries with him a large brown case.
Personality
Han Hee-joon is an intelligent, level-headed man with a sharp tongue. During conversation Han Hee-joon is often quick to target other's weak points and past regrets, leaving them annoyed and frustrated at having to interact with him. He is also a loyal individual when he chooses to be, with Moses describing him as "Dias’ obedient little lapdog". When speaking to Dias, he drops the rude behaviors he uses with others and is instead much more formal. Han Hee-joon can be quite accommodating with Dias in general, helping conversations along when her eccentric nature might move things off-topic and explaining missions to Moses on her behalf, knowing that Dias is not a fan of exposition.
Story
Prior to The Distortion Detective
Not much is known, though he served as Moses' assistant during her time in the Udjat, and later in the Smoke War.
When Moses defied Dias' orders and went on a rampage, he and Ezra were the only survivors.
Distortion Detective
Han Hee-joon first appears in Moses' Office, requesting their assistance in managing Distortions of an Urban Nightmare class in District 11, stating that it's a request directly from the Seven Assocation. He also tells her to let the Distortions fully manifest without attempting to intervene, and promises that "[she] might be able to meet a certain person at the end of this request" before leaving.
After Moses' Office arrives at Dirstict 11, he greets them at the WARP platform with Dias. Later, he briefs them on the mission as he drives them to Quercus Village, not without leaving an ominous warning to Moses before leaving.
After Moses subdues the Distortions within the village, he and the Udjat enter the location to retrieve them. Afterwards, he brings them to one of Dias' mansions, where she requests Moses' Office and Vespa to retrieve Distortions from the fallen L Corp., with Han Hee-joon occasionally being contacted by Moses while they're within the Nest.
Later on, he would inform Larierre—the troubled Elder Bloodfiend of L Corp. and owner of her namesake hotel—of Moses' presence within the Nest, and her ability to help deal with other, less obedient Bloodfiends.
