Trivia

• Yi Sang wears a gat, a traditional Korean hat worn by men, and a cheollik, a style of Hanbok worn by military officers and royal escorts during the Joseon dynasty.
• Yi Sang uses a bronze mirror, which may be based off of the Jeongmungyeong, a Korean national treasure. This mirror was a sacred ritual object used for sun worship or shamanistic rites.
• This E.G.O is the first to include a Sinner's corroded appearance in the E.G.O artwork, featured in a reflection below Yi Sang.
• The animation of mirrors within mirrors and the awakening quote both reference Trichiliocosm, or Trisāhasramahāsāhasralokadhātu, a Buddhist cosmological concept referring to a billion-fold universe cluster.
• His corrosion appearance may be a reference to Jeoseungsaja (저승사자), a Korean god of death that escorts souls to the netherworld.
