District 9 (I Corp.)
I Corp. is one of the 26 Wings of the City, overseeing District 9.
Overview
District 9 is in the eastern quarter of the City. The Backstreets are known as the "Streets of Music", and much of its culture seems to revolve around an appreciation of music.[1] The infamous Distortion known as the Pianist attacked the residential area of the Backstreets of District 9 several years prior to the events of Limbus Company, which resulted in 80% of the District's total population being killed.[2][3]
I Corp. took part in the Smoke War as an ally of Lobotomy Corporation, hiring an entire Association to fight for them.[4] The Wing was one of several that promised Smoke War veterans migration permits to their Nests, before later changing the terms to ban Wing War participants from ever moving to their Nest.[5]
