Cozy Bed

Cozy Bed is a non-fightable Abnormality that can be encountered in the Mirror Dungeon through Abnormality events exclusively within the Miracle in District 20 BokGak Theme Pack.

It is the source of the E.G.O Christmas Nightmare.

Appearance

Cozy Bed appears to be a wooden bed, laid with thick winter sheets and covers in a predominantly red and green color scheme. The frame of the bed is decorated with Christmas ornaments, including stockings and garlands. An unknown entity, comprised of numerous colorful eyes, sharp teeth, and possibly red-and-green tentacles, resides under the bed.

Due to the fact that the bed looks different in all its appearances, it's possible that the Abnormality is the entity lurking within rather than the bed itself.

An old, creaky bed sits solemnly in the middle of the room.

It is surrounded by numerous lanterns and candlesticks.

Some are burnt out, their remains ashen and cold, leaving only dark singes as testament of their old flames…

But the others were still lit, their warm flames diligently traveling down the wicks.

Yet, the chillingly dark shadows lurking at the bed's legs, next to the sheets half-sliding off the bed, are shrouded still.

An odd tremor vibrates the floor.

And soon, I hear a sound of something dragging across the floor accompanied by a sensation of a cold, clammy gaze peering intently in my direction…

What could possibly lie beneath that bed?

[Sinner] carefully leans down to take a look under the bed. The darkness there, which we were convinced by our curiosity to peer into, is a suffocating quiet. [Sinner] sits there, complefely frozen in their hunched posture, before slowly stepping away from the bed. Something scratches the floorboards. As if on cue, we immediately turn around and scramble out of that room. A monster lives under the bed. The selected Identity lose 20 SP! Other Identities lose 10 SP!

Do not approach the bed. Nothing happened.

The Christmas Nightmare E.G.O is extracted from Cozy Bed.

Gregor and Ishmael's E.G.O were added as part of the Miracle in District 20 BokGak Event during Season 5 through Extraction. Both E.G.O are obtainable through both the Dispenser and the Sinner's Target Extractions from Season 7 onward.

• Cozy Bed is based on the childhood fear of monsters hiding in a bedroom, like underneath the bed.
  • Its E.G.O Background seems to emphasize this: it takes the appearance of a room decorated for Christmas, in which the lighting creates warped, monstrous shadows.
  • Additionally, apart from Cozy Bed itself, other entities with eyes and hands can be seen hiding in both of its E.G.O arts.

  • Its appearance in the Mirror Dungeon has a wooden frame decorated with a stocking and garlands, and a thick red winter sheet.
  • Its appearance in Ishmael's Christmas Nightmare is similar, with more ornaments (like a ribbon) and the frame sporting a green padding. The sheets are green and red in a striped pattern.
  • Its appearance in Gregor's Christmas Nightmare has a thin, metal frame, not unlike hospital beds, with wheels. The sheets are red and green with a hint of yellow, in a square pattern.
