Strengths & Weaknesses
Coin Boost and Drop effects modify the Coin Power of Skills, which is extremely powerful. They only modify the Power of their Coin type (ex.
Plus Coin Drop
Plus Coin DropPlus Coin Power -X for this turn. does not affect Minus Coin Skills). Coin Boost status effects change the value of Coin Power by +1, and Coin Drop status effects change the value of Coin Power by -1. These statuses affect all Skills used that turn, regardless of the number of Skills used or Skill type such as Defense Skills or E.G.O Skills.
Due to the nature of Coin tossing, Coin Boost and Drop effects do not always take effect. A unit with low Sanity will likely toss Tails on a Coin, meaning that the altered coin values of

Plus Coin Drop

Plus Coin Drop
Plus Coin DropPlus Coin Power -X for this turn. is one of the strongest debuffs in the game, working especially well against enemies with high numbers of Coins, high numbers of Skill slots, high Sanity, and, of course, enemies that only use Plus Coin Skills. Plus Coin Drop makes fights significantly easier by lowering Clash Power and attack power equal to the number of Coins on an attack, assuming an enemy is tossing Heads. That caveat means Plus Coin Drop is less effective on ![]()
SinkingThe next Y time(s) the unit is hit, take X fixed SP damage. (Units with no Sanity take Gloom damage.) Sinking teams, and only moderately effective on Abnormalities.
Plus Coin Boost
Plus Coin BoostPlus Coin Power +X for this turn. is one of the strongest buffs in the game, working especially well when Identities have multiple Skill Slots and high Sanity. It is also useful for solo runs and challenge runs, as Plus Coin Boost applies to all Skills an Identity uses that turn, including E.G.O Skills with many Coins. It is possible to stack a high quantity of Plus Coin Boost by saving the Skill that applies the effect and using several on the same turn.
