Clockwork-Time-Roly-Poly

Clockwork-Time-Roly-Poly is a non-fightable Abnormality that can be encountered in the Mirror Dungeon through Abnormality events.

It is the source of the E.G.O Asymmetrical Inertia.

Appearance

Clockwork-Time-Roly-Poly appears as a large mass of brass gears and clock parts, mostly contained in a metal casing in the shape of a bell with an opening at the front, giving it the appearance of a cloak. A wooden head with the shape of a cuckoo wall clock is mounted upon the bell via a golden metal stand, featuring a yellow human eye in place of the clock face, framed by three golden gear half-circles: one smaller half-circle to the right of the eye, and two both above and below, resembling eyelashes.
Numerous silky red strings or blood vessels lead from the eye and can be seen emerging from the back of the head. Bundles of the strands are also tied to the stand supporting the head, dangling to the floor below the otherwise floating Abnormality.

The bell tolls.

It creaks a few times...

And tolls again.

The bell tolls to tell the time. It swings all the way back, as though it's about to tip over... then balances itself again.

Every time it balances itself, the sound of a broken bell tolls.

The bell precariously swings back once again.

Help the bell find balance. Envy & Gluttony Advantage check. Pass to level up currently deployed Identities. Who will step forth? Envy / Gluttony Advantage: ≥ 12 No Advantage: ≥ 24 Check Passed You reach out with your hand and hold it in place before it swings back. The bell dings faintly. A dull and feeble noise. Though it no longer bounces back with the same amount of force, it continues to sway back and forth. All Deployed Identities gain 2 Levels Check Failed You firmly held it in place. Perhaps too firmly; it will never lose its balance again. And it will never sway back and forth again. The bell no longer tolls. All that remains are gears and cogs. Nothing happened.

Push it further. Envy & Sloth Advantage check. Pass to gain a Tremor E.G.O Gift. Who will step forth? Envy / Sloth Advantage: ≥ 15 No Advantage: ≥ 30 Check Passed You push it further, to the point where the bell's almost touching the ground. But it does not fall. Instead, it bounces back harder than it ever has, and it tolls loudly. Louder than any bell you've ever heard. The Selected Identity lost 10 SP! E.G.O Gift Bell of Truth obtained! Check Failed You pushed the bell too far. It tips over, falling to the ground with a heavy thump. It can no longer be made to stand again. Its original role, once fallen, can never be recovered. All Allies took 20 HP and SP damage!
